Battle Days

The big festival in Rosalia is Battle Days. On Saturday there is a parade and children are invited to dress up and walk in it. This years theme for the children's Parade was Agriculture USA. Catherine dressed up as a Cow Girl for the parade. She was joined by another friend when we got to the staging area. After she rode in the parade she was able to watch the rest. She and Elizabeth were able to fill the cow girl hat with candy. It was a long day for all of us filled with friends and activities. We had planned on going to the family dance in the evening, but after walking up and down main street several times with our girls or some of Catherine's friends, we were tired. The youth group had a side walk rummage sale fundraiser, and we all had fun helping with that. We decided to try and go to bed early, but after such an exciting day and with a friend over spending the night, it was hard to settle down and rest. We finally went to bed around 11pm. I hope you enjoy the pictures of the parade.

Wedding

My brother was married this spring. The girls love their new aunt a lot. Here are some pictures of the beach wedding. My sister was the official wedding photographer, and she had many more excellent pictures. It was fun to spend time with together as a family.
